I sealed a 99 intake manifold because I didn't have a gasket and used the primer activator. Two years later when I went to remove the manifold it wouldn't come off - I had to rap it pretty hard with a dead blow hammer to break the joint free. Scraping the rock hard sealer from the aluminum head and intake was not fun. I've since used it sans the activator with pretty good luck.
