I am posting asking about Swedish Dynamics, as to try to ascertain some information about some others experiences with them. At this point ive become aggravated by the lack of communication, and have now resorted to calling my credit card company...sorry about the long post, but im just trying to figure out what went wrong...
On July 21 I ordered (though their online system) a C900 clutch kit to replace the dead factory one. On that day, I received an automated notice confirming my order.
Two weeks later, nothing had seemed to happen. Credit card was not charged, no notice of shipping. I sent them an e-mail, asking if there were any problems with the order, to call or e-mail me ASAP. Since the car was not driving I really needed to get this clutch ASAP at this point .
a week passed...nothing. So I called them, and not surprisingly no one answered. I of course left a message, with all my information.
I waited, and waited. Nothing. Into the middle of August (a month later), I just simply figured nobody would ever bother to contact me, and that my order was lost.
I then went onto ebay and purchased a Spec stage 2+ kit, and the received it three days later, installed it and was happy with my purchase.
NOW, At the end of September (over 2 and a half months later), the credit card was charged and the clutch arrives soon after. I would not have even known, as there was NO notice saying it was shipped, Did not e-mail or phone me to ask if I still needed it (three months later!? ya right!). Just did it.
Now I have a clutch kit, that I have no use for. I CANNOT get a hold of these guys! Ive since stared e-mailing, and phoning them often, and even leaving messages...NOTHING. They WILL NOT respond to e-mails, they WILL NOT respond to phone messages. Nothing! I noticed that they have a 30 day return policy, but if I cant even get a hold of them, im stuck with this $300+ clutch I cant even use.
So what Ive done is refused the package, and returned it to sender. After it arrives back there, Visa says I can then make a claim and get my money back.
so the big question is: is anybody else in this boat? what else can/should I do?
