The same video seems to indicate that they already have the Neoplan and MAN brand license. The SAAB company that they are buying doesn't have the heavy truck brand or the aircraft brand anyway. IIRC, the aircraft maker is the ultimate brand holder of "SAAB" brand and everyone else is a licensee. The Chinese entreprenuer also seems to be quite keen on putting his own "Youngman" brand on every product instead of mere license production. They seem to be using the German brand Neoplan license primarily for export market (i.e. in all the English version online literature), whereas the Chinese characters for "Youngman" is on the buses shown operating in China in the video. If I have to guess, Pang's given Chinese name "Qinniang" means "Youngman"; i.e. the man is putting his own name on the products! So one can expect him to be rightfully emphatic about quality . . . all in all not a bad turn of events. That part of China does seem to produce high quality private entreprenuers: I looked up where Pang's base of operation is; it's just about 100 miles from the buyer of Volvo! The two companies seem to be be neighbors again, this time at the other end of the Eurasian continent!
