Paved or gravel drive? If paved would a blower attachment fit on the tractor with a cab and heater? Most 4x4 tractors I have seen, even small ones, can handle either a plow or blower, or even both if the blade is a rear mount landscaper blade for clearing close to garage doors and the like. Most snow fall here in S-E Michigan are nothing like you have seen either recently in Colorado or longer ago in West Michigan.
For estate vehicle used for both hauling and guest drives I would lean towards a Ford Explorer or Escape. Probably the Explorer for increased cargo, hauling and prestige.
