Im in CT where gas is extremely expensive to begin with but I have noticed premium gas seems to be much higher. I remember gas usually being priced in 10 cent intervals between grades. Seems premium gas in south central CT is priced 40-50 cents higher than regular.
I buy most of my gas at BJ's wholesale club where their premuim is 20 cents more than their regular. I am assuming that they are selling it at cost so why the huge markup at other stations for premium?
BJ's gas is always the lowest priced on the gasbuddy website for the area. Their regular alone is about 10-15 cents cheaper than stations in the area. The savings is huge on the premuim when compared to area stations.
