If driving a two stroke 96 in '73 wasn't quirky I don't what is. In fact quirkiness is one of the things I've always loved about Saabs and one of the things the newer ones have been missing. The NG900/OG9-3 is one of the last Saabs with quirkiness right out there for all the world to see. It's also the last Saab I owned--coincidence? I'd never actually thought of it until now but I wonder if there was some kind of subconscious thing going that stopped me from buying a newer one? Hmmmmm.
