Idea to assist with tranny fluid changes Posted by MI-Roger [Email] ![]() ![]() |
I have always been a little concerned with not knowing how much fluid drains out of my automatic transmisisons when doing drain & refill for service. I failed at doing this recently on my 9-5 but will be attempting the wife's 9-3 this weekend.
Today I stopped at a Dollar Store and purchased a one gallon transluscent plastic beverage pitcher with 1/2 quart markings on the side. Now I can pour the old fluid in the pitcher, see how much drained out, and know how much fresh fluid to pour back in.
