Correct yes. It would show you old number Y is now new number X. Also the current price of that new number.
We run into issues more so with other genuine manufacturers where a customer goes to a certain ehem OEM site and finds a part number that's about 6 part numbers old. Calls us and orders.
If we're not on top of our game and make that new part number the customer then can sit there and wait for a month before we realize that we should have seen that by now but for whatever reason BMW's system just puts those orders into some sort of never-never land and can't cross to the new part number.
Either way I've been porting over aliases on as much as I can lately so you should be able to see all the old item numbers in our catalog but if we don't have it in our catalog this would be a way to see, yes it's still in the saab catalog, which means it's likely available for order. It may have "NO ETA" but it can be ordered at any rate.
