My 9-5 Aero is rapidly approaching 60K miles and the weather forecasters started talking about a brief warm spell coming our way last weekend. I quickly ordered all the parts necessary for my 60K Major Interval Maintenance from a number of sources and as the week progressed was eagerly anticipating doing the work in balmy 60 degree temperatures today.
Last night I checked on my order from eEuro that had not yet arrived and which contained one critical part, the upper idler pulley. The order appeared stalled on their website so I sent an e-mail to eEuro at around 7:00pm last night politely explaining my thwarted plans and frustrations, and asking if my order had been lost.
I received a telephone call within 5 minutes. Matt said the FedEx truck had already left for the day but he would place the pulley in a FedEx envelope and drop it off at FedEx on his way home for the evening, also promising delivery by 1:00pm today.
The pulley arrived before 1:00pm and is now securely affixed to the engine of my car. Thanks Matt!!
