I use the Self-Serve machine regularly Posted by MI-Roger [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: OT: Daily Lesson-USPS Tax Form mailing instructions, westernny, Tue, 26 Mar 2013 08:02:53 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The instructions are horrific! This latest fiasco is not my only error with this piece of automation but it is still beter than waiting for 20 minutes behind some of the most clueless people on earth to be serviced by a Postal Clerk. Some of these folks arrive with gift items, dunnage, wrapping paper and a box in a large bag with the idea they have to package their items at the counter and in view of a Postal Clerk for the USPS to accept their package! They also never have tape or a pen. (OK, there was a VERY brief period after September 11, 2001 (or was it the Anthrax Powder terror?) when packages had to be sealed in front of a Postal Clerk but that was over a decade ago!)
Our local Post Office has some of the world's most patient people working there. I go nuts after observing just 20 minutes of the lunacy they are subjected to all day.
