My grandparents had a '62 Mercury Comet. I thought it was a cool car but I was 4 years old.
My parents bought a brand new '63 Ford Falcon Country Squire wagon. White with fake wood on the sides, and a red vinyl interior. We were styling. I learned to 'drive' in that car because after about 5 years and 60,000 miles it died and sat in the garage for a looooong time. I spent many hours behind the wheel while it sat there.
