I looked into it with my '93 900 TC and the well known classic car insurers were pretty restrictive (though they've since gotten less so). I ended up with Hartford who had an agreed value and allowed you to use it like a real car. I forgot the value I had on my car but I'm sure they check with pricing guides. It's really the only way to protect yourself from getting into a big taffy pull with insurance companies.
