OT: Any experience with Cornwell Tool Jacks? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sat, 24 Jan 2015 08:48:20 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
As I was filling my car the other night a Tool Truck was just pulling away from the Diesel pump. The truck was labeled Cornwell Tools, Professional Tools since 1919. I had never seen or heard of them previously.
Since I am looking for a reasonably priced quality garage jack in case my recent repairs don't work, I checked their website and tried to find other information. It appears they are a cost & quality competitor to the Norco Jacks that Justin endorsed last week in this same category. I spotted this truck only two miles from my home so delivery may be free, an important consideration with something as heavy as a floor jack.
Anyone know much about this company? Internet research showed they are a North Carolina (or was it SC?) company which out sources tool manufacturing across the globe, with their jacks coming from Taiwan, but information is sparse.
