Car Condos, anyone use one? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Mon, 29 Jun 2015 18:08:25 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
A local investor is trying to drum up customers for his planned Car Condo complex. I can store one car at the local collector's warehouse for ~$500 for the four winter months, or ~$1,300 for an entire year. These planned car condos sell for $40K for the smallest ones which are approximately the same size as a two car garage.
Are they that expensive in other cities or is the rarity of these in the Detroit area driving up prices? I have hesitated to spend the $500 for winter storage but I could do that for 80 years before equaling the purchase price of a car condo.
Wow, wouldn't it be far cheaper to build a multi-bay garage on your own property closer to home?
