you are not doing a very good job selling this idea to us :-)
I'm no expert but it seems to me if oil is "gelled" or unusually thick it means that some of it's components have separated. and if discolored it means that some of it's components have oxidized.
Curious, did the Imprezza use oil (1 qt/400mi) prior to to being put on a diet of this "witches brew"?
I'd say that those cans of oil would be great up on a shelf in the garage as "decoration", but I don't think I'd want this stuff in my car ... or lawnmower for that matter. But whatever you decide, I beg of you, don't use this stuff in a precious Saab!
