I suspect GM will go bankrupt yet again Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Mon, 25 Oct 2021 18:00:21 In Reply to: Re: Not surprising, JerseySaab [Profile/Gallery] , Tue, 19 Oct 2021 17:39:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
They only have two vehicles in the US Top 20 for sales volume. They still haven't scaled back their over-head to match Sales. They keep trying every half-baked idea in a fruitless attempt to generate income. Now they are recalling every electric vehicle they have ever built because rare internal battery defects have resulted in multiple vehicle fires.
GM Dealerships have zero new vehicles to sell while competitors have at least a thin supply of new vehicles. They are banking on electric vehicles yet no one is yet addressing the dearth of roadside charging stations. GM makes almost zero cars, just trucks and SUVs. They are so confused and grasping for straws that they spent $$$ having a new logo designed for the company, which then required replacement of all signage, stationery, dealership signs, logos, etc. They continue to promote nimrods. I left nine years ago and I am shocked at the number of idiots whom I remember that have since been promoted.
