Swedecar, can you help me with this? I posted on the "Other cars" board, but there does not seem to be much traffic there these days, doubt it will be seen by many.

I plan to replace front and rear pads and rotors on our recently acquired 2013 XC90. The rotors I bought are Volvo authentic PN 31400893 rear (308mm) and 31471824 front (328mm). Front rotors came with caliper bracket bolts, so this suggests they torque to yield one time use. I need some help on Caliper Bracket bolt torque spec and torque process.

I am finding much conflicting information for the proper caliper bracket bolt torques. (and I was careful to filter info for P2 years of XC90) First the fronts. From what I can find on a few Volvo discussion board sources and a video from a parts site based in CT that seem to validate each other - torque to a 106Nm, then tightened an additional 60 degrees. Instruction sheet that came with the rotors looks generic for all Volvo cars and gives a torques for various bolt sizes but does not mention anything about the extra 60 degrees for the front. It only says 120Nm for the M12 front bolts. Did Volvo increase their torque value and drop the extra 60 degrees?

Now for the rears. Again, same web based sources call for 60 Nm, but instruction sheet that came with the rotors says 70 Nm. Lack of new bolts in the box suggest these are not torque to yield. Again did Volvo change the torque requirement? Seems odd to do for a vehicle platform /model in service for a more than 15 years.

Any help you can provide is appreciated.

Thank you.
