The WRX looks much better in person than in pictures. Some photo angles do not do it justice at all. I think it looks best in the metallic silver. The BBS 17" wheels will be a dealer-installed option. The extra cost of the sedan is attributable to the unique flared front quarter panels that aren't available on the wagon.
As for the performance, 227hp @ 6,000rpm, 217lb-ft @4,000rpm. Turbo boost is somewhere around 14psi. I've seen 0-60mph claims as low as 5.8 sec. (with a pre-production test car).
Factory and aftermarket go-fast parts should be abundant.
Viggen-like performance at a price that's significantly ($10,000+) less.
Subaru is often referred to as the Saab of Japan.
