A few years ago, I had a 97 or 98 900S convertible as a rental for a day or two. Took it from Phoenix, where I was working, to Tucson to visit my step-brother.
I think I only saw 2 saabs and I did a LOT of cruising around. However, both owners were very friendly and definitely noticed another Saab. Of course, my stepbrother wouldn't let me pull into the parking lot after the very attractive driver of one saab that was playing with us for a few miles. Seemed that meeting up with his USAF friends was more important.
I wanted to stop.
Anyway, there may not be many of them but up here in Minnesota, other Saab owners won't even acknowledge you. I'd be lucky to get 2 other Saabs to even cast a slight glance over my way.
