PLease forgive the sketchy report but last night I happened to catch the last 25 minutes of a Learning Channel special on speeding.
Among the many facts was the statement that among all varieties of vehicles the most-nabbed vehicle of them all was.....get this......the Chev Suburban......followed by the Ford Taurus. They only named two other top-ten finishers: MB and BMW. [ I am not sure whether this figure was nationwide or just Florida but these were AAA stats.]
AAA nailed Waldo, Florida as the continent's worst speed trap and another nearby Florida town (I forget the name but it was on the same highway) as the second worst. The tool of a police chief and his town manager were unrepentant about the zealousess of the enforcement policy which contributed a whoppping 30%+ to the municipal coffers.
The whole program was anti-trickery in law enforcement. It made for very interesting viewing.
Watch out in Ohio and Illinois.
