Try "Simple Green", very good concentrated cleaner (I think you can get it at Wal-Mart, I got mine at Canadian Tire :) Dilute with water in a spray bottle, spray and let sit for about 30 seconds. DO NOT do this in bright sunlight, do it in a shady area with your car cooled down. It is also biodegradable and won't harm the paint job or the environment (like my driveway) and make sure you rinse it off. BTW, it works GREAT on alloys - cleans the brake dust off easily. It's a lot less caustic then alcohol and works well. Good Luck.
