In addition to Chris, who wrote the letter I posted at the beginning of this thread, I've heard from Ryan's brother and Marisa. Marisa works (worked?) in the World Financial center right across the street from the WTC. She was actually in the street right next to the WTC when the 1st plane hit. I think her office building is currently on fire.

She narrowly missed getting hit by big falling chunks of debris, and saw some human limbs strewn on the ground as she fled the scene.

We hadn't talked for quite a while (over a year, actually), but remain close friends. Neither one of us will take time for granted like this again.

Others weren't so lucky. A friend's next-door neighbor was on approximately the 95th floor of the north tower and is now missing, presumed dead. He leaves behind two small children and a pregnant wife.
