Is a wife an issue with the Sports Exhaust? Drive a screw driver into the resonator, that will kill it.

If you are keeping the vehicle for the long haul, why wait to have the new exhaust. It will last for ever and is cheaper than the OEM system dealer installed? This way you will get more years of enjoyment out of it. You will be spending the money anyways. You can count on the OEM biodegradable exhaust failing a some point.

If you are going to install it yourself, then it might be nicer to do it now rather than maybe changing it out later in the winter in the cold with slush dripping in your eyes.

Rationalization as well as self deception is an art form!

The sulfer smells are from, you guessed it, sulfer. Unless you have a strange diet, the sulfer is from the gasoline that you are using. I get that exhaust (no puns please) problem sometimes, but not often. I don't know how the level of boost would be an factor. Sulfer in... sulfer out.
