I was there in June on my way to the Int SOC, and Stockholm was great! Spend some time walking around "Gammlastan" (sp?) (Old Town). Great place to shop and browse. I had a whole day and spent most of it there, but wished I had more time. Course I was walking and my Teva's were pretty tired by the end of the day (I had to catch the ferry). Interestingly, the Stockholmn cops were driving Chevy Blazers! No language problems, but spend some time getting to know the smaller denominations of the currency so you don't feel as stupid as I did. Fortunately the Swedes are used to us! Lots of great web sites out there too, and apparently there are tons of neat restaurants on all of the various little islands around the city.
