I'm back to the extended knowledge of TSN board!
Problem: Our dishwasher does not consume enough hot water, to keep the supply line hot from our tankless water system (which we like!!). I looked into the Metlund high speed recirculation units, but they can not be used with our tankless system. I've considered placing an under counter 2.5 gal electric unit, under the kitchen sink, but it is only the dishwasher we are having a problem with... So:
Question: Do any of you know of a dishwasher that has a strong self contain heating system, to augment the incoming hot water? Our GE unit has been a good one, but it will sit on "heating" for 15 minues before giving up. I had the service tech validate that the dishwasher was functioning properly. We don't mind getting a new unit, but most sales people don't seem to have a clue as to which units have the strongest heating system...
Appreciate any feedback, or other suggestions!
