A true monstrosity, 2nd only to the Dodge Shadow turbo

Friend had turbo Sunbird growing up (high school). Crappiness of the Sunbird/Cavalier aside, the lag and torque steer sucked, and suspension far too mushy: Driving it once, went over dip in fav rural back road at ~25mph and *crunch* bottomed nose and bottom hard - oh was she (owner, passenger) pissed. But what did I know? - I'd hit that dip a hundred times at >35mph in my old '82 900S without incident.
Moral - if your gonna slap a turbo on a marginal car, make sure to upgrade it so as to handle the inevitably harder driving it will see.
Girlfriend had turbo Shadow - that thing was a menace to all. Lag and torque steer like Sunbird but with an even shorter wheel base on similarly shoddy suspension made for a harrowing ride. Am honestly relieved she had a minor fender bender with it and it was melted down for scrap.
