Winterize your Saab reminder.....

Just a reminder to do a few little things to prevent winter freeze-up for those who live in cold climates.
Top-up the windshield washer solution with windshield washer/de-icer. If you have been using plain water, or a windshield washer fluid not rated for cold weather, better drain the windshield washer reservior then add fresh washer/de-icer fluid. Don't want your washer fluid to freeze in the bottle or on your windshield.
Lubricate all the locks (doors, hatch, and ignition) and latching mechanisms with a good quality lubricant. Lock-eze with graphite or Tri-Flow with teflon both work well. Besides lubricating the locks and latches, this will also displace any water that may have found its way into the lock/latch meachanisms.
Wipe down all the door, hatch, and engine hood (bonnet for those in the UK) rubber weatherstrip/seals with a silicone lubricant. This will prevent the weatherstrip/seals from freezing to the metal of the doors, hatch, etc.
Enjoy your Saab in the 'winter wonderland' and remember to be a little extra careful out there.
