YeeeHaw-a foot and a half of snow-and I didn't have to> Posted by DougM [Email] (#211) [Profile/Gallery] (more from DougM) on Sat, 29 Dec 2001 22:08:29 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
shovel it. Went to visit an uncle in Mentor, OH this afternoon. We got about ten miles from his house and it was a nightmare on the highway. 20 mph and white-out conditions. Couldn't even see the road or a lane. I just followed taillights to the exit. I was there for two hours and three inches of snow fell in that time. He already had over a foot in the last 16 hours. I cleaned the car real good before departure and then went baja-ing throught the thick stuff on his un-plowed street. What a blast. The highway was cleared off by now with clear visibility and 45mph was more like it, except for the jerks with the emergency flashers driving 25mph and creating more of a hazard(maybe they had bald tires). I went to pass one jerk with flashers(he was in the left lane) on the right and the SOB tried to run me off the road. I was along side of him and he started to merge right. I layed on the horn and he kept coming over. @sshole!!!!! Once out of the snowbelt and it was 70mph the rest of the way home. Interesting evening and the C900 turbo was up to the challenge.
