that's way too much for that car and no turbo. try to buy a car from 1990 to 1994. it will depend if you like the long body style vs. the smaller after 1994 versions. saab's are cheap from 1989 to 1991. anything from convertibles to turbos to 900 sedans. i just bought a 1989 convertible(red)
turbo with 68k for $2,700. with travel it cost me $3100. a saab customer for 18 years you get to know what sounds and what mechanically to look for.
i would be interested to send you a list of what's available, for free.just ask. If you have 8k to spend, you should get that car w/ about 30k miles. if you need help i will offer all i can. i love to see more people drive saab cars.
