The Mini Cooper is utterly fantastic. The supercharged version is magnificent. Kudos to BMW for saving and evolving the brand.
Have you read the reviews of VW's newest Bentley? They are raving over it!
YOU may have a problem with GM underpinnings of the 900/9-3, but many of we SAABers think it is just fine (considering that Saab would be gone if not for GM).
I own a '95 900S, fantastic car. I also own a '00 9-5- light years ahead of my 900S. Yup- Both built on GM platforms, both complete Saabs, and both excellent cars.
Maybe...if you click your heels together and wish very hard...GM will start making a two stroke Saab again! You still wouldn't be happy, though...right?
