I have had a lot to do with modifying 4WD's (SUV's in USA :)), and one thing that helps considerably with "torque" steer with the front wheels whist off road is a steering damper. Essentially a smaller, fifth shock absorber mounted between the steering arm and another fixed point on the chassis. It doesn't slow down steering response (if you get the size right as well as the damping force), yet help the wheels re-centre and not get too upset by ruts and potholes. It also help combat the oversteering effects of too much power through the front wheels by neuralising any overreaction on behalf of the driver. Any thoughts???
