...in a very bad situation.
For people who take sports too
seriously, this became a big
deal. If they don't, this was
really an academic exercise.
Thinkers see life as a comedy
while feeling-type emotional people
see it as a tragedy. The population
is said to be split 50/50 between thinkers
and emotional-type people.
You could tell a lot about people by the
way they reacted to this episode in IOC
history. Cooler heads prevailed. This is
good. Speaks well for Chairman Rogge who
refused to let the ISU drag its feet, recognizing
the emotionals were terribly distraught by the whole
thing.
Geez....Canada better buck up that highly-touted
hockey team or we'll be awfully embarrassed as a
nation. Sweden was full value for the win.
