Sorry, my upload got a little confused: Here it is better organized.
They didn't teach set theory when I took math, so I am on kind of shaky
ground, but as I understand the question, I would answer the domain is:
"All REAL numbers from 0 up to and including 4. I think some philosophers
like to argue that 0 is not a number, but it certainly is in the binary
system: (0 and 1) which any computer programmer will verify.
Function Domain Range
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Y=X^2 - INFINITY< X < + INFINITY 0 <or= Y
Y=(1-X^2)^1/2 -1<or=x<or=1 0<or=y<or=1
Y=1/X X<>0 Y<>0
Y=(4-X)^1/2 X<or= 4 0<or= Y
Note Addendum: "<>" (not equal to).
