you have to open the hood, remove the battery, wait a minute, reinstall the battery, and press the start button. Then hope for the best.
This gives a whole new meaning to the term "crash".
Driver: "Hello, BMW, my car crashed"
BMW: "Are you alright... do you need an ambulance?"
Driver: "No, the owner's manual says I need a "Restore Disk""
