Last summer we purchased a 99 wrangle & we hated the way it felt on the road. So we firmed things up a bit at a friends shop which included new springs & koni adjustables. While the jeep was there, I decided I wanted to add a wheel stud kit to my 88 SPG so my 18x7 forgelines would fit easier/better & I wouldn't strip any more threads. So I dropped off my car in the AM & I went to pick up the cars later that day. I then noticed the cars were not out in their parking lot but somewhere else, hmmmmm..
As it ended up, the street which goes infront of their facility was getting redone. The pavers were scraping off 1-2 inches from the pavement & putting new down. They screwed up somewhere along the way & their work ended up sparaying tar over 30+ cars in the parking lot of the shop. My car was completely covered with that stuff & the jeep had a good dosing as well. Fortunantly that was before winter so my car & our jeep received a complete detail job.
It was a lot cheaper then $4700 (probably $100-200 per car) & I didn't have to get those cars ready for the winter either :o)
