"The word of mouth is spreading. Instead of Saab being perceived as something a little outside the mainstream and maybe a little less of a safe choice, I think Saab is being recognized".
In undergrad, one of the items in the business program was a
course in advertising. WoM is premiere gear for an advertiser.
If you can latch unto it, it's golden. That's where we come in here
at Saabnet, which consistently scores in the top 3 webchoices for Saab.
Couple that with the fact (CarTalk) Saab is the #2 Euro (after Porsche) and the #6 overall repurchase choice in loyalty and the fact of all
these new models coming out from which to choose, I think GM decision-makers are looking very prescient indeed.
I noticed Toyota showing the way with a humorous TV ad depicting two
Maytag-like repairmen in a Camry. Those boffins could very well have been
driving our '99 9-3 Saab. (73K km)
My mechanic told me life with this car would be mechanically uneventful and also a lot of fun. I already knew about the fun part, having owned one before. I already knew about SUV-like carrying capacity too and the best safety factor money can buy.
This 9-3 is at least on a par, handling-wise, with the old one and almost as good as the '79 in winter. The 900T was a tad heavier and equipped with Hakkepellittas in winter.
