Thanks for everyone's responses. I will say this, I was not "parked" I was "standing." And realistically, this could've happened while I was loading or unloading or putting things in my trunk. That's getting philosophical, but it's true - whether I was sitting in my car, or loading crap into it, it still would've happened. I also understand that there are disclaimers, and I KNOW I'm not going to get anywhere with the parking lot people because I can't blame the parking lot for the accident - the only part of their property that was involved was the four patches of asphalt under my tires. I don't think they should be held responsible anyway. I'm hoping that the Target company will offer compensation for their employee's "negligence" in the incident. Unfortunately, the cart-guy was not an English-speaking person and he spent the entire conversation repeating "I didn't do it" in very broken english. We'll see how it all plays out - and I'm not looking to go to small-claims court - it isn't worth it for $180. Thanks again to everyone.
