Frist you are ignoring that fact that there have been many 4dr convertibles over the years from the dawn of cardom through the 1960's (although the vast majority where pre-war cars) But in modern time look at the mid 90's Sebring convertible. The Sebring Convertible shared the platform of the 4dr only JH sedans (Stratus/Cirrus/Breeze) and not the plateform of the hardtop Sebring Couple. And if Chrysler and make a 4dr only plateform into a convertible then I would hope SAAB can figure it out.
