I'm looking for people that have had experience with AllData.
I regularly help out an elderly neighbor with his car. He just picked up a '93 Buick Century, and it's just developed a no-start problem. I suspect it's the fuel pump not getting power, but without a manual, I'm very much in the dark to start troubleshooting. My kingdom for an electrical diagram.
From what I've seen on Amazon, there are no decent manuals for this Buick - mostly it's a Haynes or Chiltons "all GM 87-99". AllData appears to be able to provide better information.
It appears that AllData will sell an on-line membership for $30 a year. For the little amount of time I'll need this, I'd prefer to buy a manual or CD once and be done. I also have a very slow connection at home, where I'd be using it, and I don't want to run between my computer and my neighbor's garage. It appeared that the only way to buy a CD was to go through a rep. Anyone have experience with buying a CD version? Price? Coverage?
Thanks!
