Sorry that you had to take the bad with the very good!

I think that it is a credit to the Saab design philosophy that they are
easier to drive at/near the limits than most "real" RWD sports cars. Those
Corvette drivers KNOW that spinning and punting the inside wall is the
penalty for nearly every driver error you can make, and most of them are terrified to bring the car to the limits because of that. In a Saab you get a lot more margin for error with much less wicked consequences, so you
can actually out-drive these supercars! Way to go!

What I've personally seen in big wrecks at driver's schools:
'80's 911 Turbo [Seattle Int'l Raceway]
'90's Acura Integra [Buttonwillow]
2001 F-150 Lightning, supercharged [Laguna Seca]
2002 M3 sedan 1 week old [Laguna Seca]
