Boy do I like driving my wife’s car. I only drive it on the odd occasion so I forget how much fun it is. She has an 85 900T, 2 door (rare) with a bunch of mods. RRFPR, Group 6 APC, K&N, saab sport exhaust. Last night in third I mashed the peddle to the floor, the turbo gauge goes well into the red, starting at about 2800 rpm, and it stays there, half into the red until about 4200, no fluctuations, just solid boost! What a freakin blast. My Aero will go as far into the red, but it will not stay there for very long, this may change with a new downpipe being installed next week, we shall see.
It is Back to the 50’s here in Minneapolis. 10,000 pre 1964 street rods and 100,000 people looking at them. I am taking my 1962 Mercury Comet over for the day. Show off the car and get an eyeful of some sweet classic cars.
