well, of course it's "just another car" They all end up in the junkyard one day. Statistics will show I think that they generally last more miles, if that's what you mean. but so do most of the other cars saab are classed with.
What do you mean by "above normal car"?
I don't think many americans drive their cars that far, and also, what has broken and been replaced/fixed on the SPG? probably some stuff that someone else might have said "well, I guess the ole thing was on its last legs anyway, I'll start looking for a new one" But you said yourself you were biased, that it was your dream car and you would have no problem forking over a couple grand for an engine rebuild.
I mean, how many cavalier/taurus/lumina engines do people have rebuilt? and how many members are in the "washington area chevy cavalier club"?
I think maybe saab owners are "not just another car owner", that might be what you're looking for.
