I don't care what they didn't video - the fight was OVER when the cop lifted the kid up off of the hood of the car, with the kid's hands cuffed behind his back, the kid barely concious (if at all) and slammed him back down on the hood of the car. Yes, police do need to use force to subdue people who are out of control sometimes. And yes, this kid appears to have precipitated the fight in some way. But the cops are supposed to enforce the law, not act above it. As long as they were only using the amount of force necessary to effectuate the arrest, you'll get no complaint from me. The minute it goes beyond what is necessary and the cop starts attempting to extract vengence - which is clearly what was going on in the video - the cop is nothing but another street thug.
