I had hardened valve seats put into my V4 heads when I had them at the machine shop. If the V4 is original use a lead substitute.
The metallic lead in the gas would prevent microwelding of the valves to the seats. Microwelding would rip microscopic chunks of metal from the valve seats as the valves opened.
