DI rules!

Have just changed spark plugs on '95 CSET 9000 and '98 A4 2.8 Observations: On the Saab, there was no need to
1) Unscrew coolant reservoir and disconnect coolant level sensor.
2) Remove the air filter cover, disconnect an air hose and water escape hose.
3) Pull the spark plug cables with enormous force, and then push them back.
4) Remove transmission oil dipstick.
As a result, the Saab job was at least 2-3 times faster.
Additionally,
1) The old plastic cover on the cables disintegrates upon slightest touch, making cables more vulnerable to the heat.
2) The location of oil dipstick makes it impossible to change plugs without getting hands oily.
3) Saab needs 1.5 times less plugs, and in addition they cost half less.
I have never had a blown DI cassette though.
