Switching a 9000 Cde 1993 auto for Nissan Maxima 1994 Posted by Serge [Email] (#1363) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Serge) on Mon, 19 Aug 2002 20:14:47 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
also auto, super neat interior and exterior. My Saab is a 2.3 liter injection ( non turbo ) with no TCS. I have absolutely no problems at all with the car ( cross my fingers ) ... but I have noticed this Nissan for sale . It's a Maxima, 2988cm3, 147 kw ( 200 ch ), 6 cyl V, 1994, 15 Hp. The price asked is : 1.299 Euros ( about 1.250 us $ ).
I must say that I love my Saab's look and the engine is powerful, speedy, reliable in every conditions and full of caracter.
On the other hand, the maxima doesn't look as good, interior is sober and classy and huge ( leather and wood finished ) , the trunk has about the same loading capicity than my hatchback.
But what is interests me on this Nissan is the engine : world wide recognized as a very good and reliable one, and very powerfull too.
Or, what I am lookin' for is to avoid all the possible and hypothetical problems that can occur in a 9k. I am servicing the car every 3500 kms and big service is done every two normal services done ( at about 10.000 kms then ).
So, opinions ? I am curious and opened minded ... but don't need the usual '' put your face out of your ass and how the hell can you ask such stupid question!!?? ''.
I need intelligent pros and cons ... and I thank you all in advance for your kind attention.
