I recently encountered a problem with my Saab alloy rims. Something happened to my rims when I was cleaning them. There must have been some dirt trapped in my brush and my two front rims became very dull (the finish is scratched) and after I wash them they have a white tinge to them showing watermarks and it's more difficult to get the dirt off from. When looking at them in the light the finish is very dull (compared to the back two that are in perfect condition). After washing my rims I have to use car wax on the front rims to take away the white and watermarks, however, the finish is still dull. Does anyone know how to correct this problem? Is there something else I should be using on the rims? Do they need to be re-glazed (re-finished)? If the rims have to be re-glazed (re-finished) where do I go to have this done? A body shop?
