Are you guys paying attention? All of that Columbus stuff is merely a structure to hang a lot of back plot going on... We learned a ton about a lot of characters this episode. It's all structure for what will come.

1. Ralphie is a needy freak. (and one with a few issues in bed apparently) and we now have to wonder if he's gonna solve Tony's problem with his sister soon...

2. Did you notice Adrianna? Don't think that Carmella hasn't noticed her moping around, and her comments about her beloved Furio...

3. The big guy, who lost his wife this episode? (sorry, spaced on his name...) They're setting him up to play something big. He's becoming human, and he's having a lot of interaction with Tony (remember the diner discussion about Nostradamus etc.)

4. The whole thing with being button-holed about Frankie Valli. Notice how upstet Tony was? He was essentially taken out of his territory (up north) to be manipulated in front of his men. They took advantage of the free gear at the casino, and now Tony has to return the favor. He was manipulated... It shows that his influence is limited.. and he is beset with slips and mistakes all around him. All this in front of his men... And listen to him struggle to keep it all in control, while his men keep thinking short-term. He wasn't able to help Silvio with his influence. That's got to hurt.

I think it was a good episode.. with a lot of dominos being set up for later.
