different opinion if you had seen a higher end model, say Vector or Aero? I find it hard to be impressed with a base model of just about any car, especially when I've seen a fully loaded, sported out model in a magazine or right beside it. The good stuff makes me not think of the little details that bother me (and every car has details that bother me). What I'm saying is, I wouldn't be impressed much with a new 325 2 door BMW, if an M3 was sitting beside it loaded with all of the goodies....and I'm not even a fan of BMW.
Also, this statement bothered me: "Both the service advisor and the techs were saying they expect more work from the new cars than the old ones." Meaning what, they don't think it will be as reliable? or they don't think it is as owner friendly to service? Based on what? It's hard for these guys or anyone to determine the reliability of an engine by going to a class don't you think?
I'm beginning to think some of the SAAB community is a bit tooooo resistant to change....am I alone in this feeling?
