A while back, the clutch pedal in my '90 9000 was getting pretty soft despite the fact that most of the clutch system (master, slave) had been recently replaced. I check the resevoir (which is shared with the brakes) to find that it was within reasonable limits. I took it to the dealer and they simply added more fluid and the problem was fix! In this case, the level had to be WELL ABOVE the full level! I thought "Full" meant "Full." Guess not... hehehe.
